Take Your Self-Talk To Practice

As a tennis player, please never forget that your words have power.

Make sure that you are using the right words in practice and in your matches.

I like to teach my students,to take their self-talk to practice with them.

It’s like having a internal coach on court, that is always there for you and is always encouraging you and giving your the right directions, in practice.

This is how it looks.

Be aware of what you say about your tennis game, to yourself silently and out loud.

Then rephrase the statement in a more empowering way.

So that means.

“There I go again”,would change to,”No problem, just adjust your swing more”.

“I can’t hit that slice backhand” turns to,”It’s easy to hit the slice backhand, just relax and feel the shot”.

Say everything in practice, with a positive twist and you will tap into your subconscious mind and it will take over from there.

Note though.

When this happens and it will.

Get out of your own way and let your subconscious mind do all the work.

So, let me repeat here.

Take your level 4 Self-talk, to practice with you daily for the next 30 days!!!

Let me know your results too!!
